Problem installing custom themes in Home Basic

    Hello everyone.

I installed Personalization Panel (which was posted here from a Thread) and UX Theme Patcher then when I tried installing the custom themes I downloaded from Deviantart, this happens:

Can anyone solved this problem of mine, please?

    Thanks in advance

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

    What happened?

When you use Personalization Panel you do not need UX Theme Patcher, Personalization Panel does the patching.

Do Option 2 of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have.

Oh, I'll just uninstall the UX Theme Patcher, maybe It'll work and Will do the system file checker though. Will update you, if the theme works now. Thanks

UPDATE: I just did the Command System File Checker and It said that my PC had some corrupted files and they fixed it automatically then they said to reboot my PC too. Right after the reboot, I tried open "Personalization Panel" and it now said "The Page is not available in this Edition of Windows"

and By the way, I uninstalled UX Theme Patcher before I rebooted my PC

Is there any idea how can I fix this?

    Thanks in advance

So you are saying aero does work just not third-party custom themes?

Take a screenshot of C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and post it here so I can see it.

Hey Jerry, I saw your reply just now and I sorta fixed custom theme files in the "C:/Windows/Resources/Themes" folder which is like this:

Then I used WinAero's Personalization Panel and tried a custom theme again and it worked! :)

But I problem now is that is that Personalization Panel that you posted in a thread still did not worked for me and I really want to use it cause of it has Aero glass and the Wallpaper slideshow thing

Sorry If I made you through with this. I'm kinda new with custom themes though
