    Help restoring my desktop


    Ok, I messed up. I downloaded some new Windows skins from a torrent site. It wasn't referred to as themes but skins. I ran one of them and I do not like it at all. I just want to go back to what I had however, system restore now shows an error. So system restore doesn't fix my problem. I would really like to avoid an advance recovery method. Does anyone have any suggestions.

    Hello Marshall what is the error mate?


    Plus it might be as well to run some security scans - me I don't like torrent stuff just a bit risky it seems to me. If you haven't got these try them they are free and quick.

hi guys i am new to whole windows 7 tried to remove program and i removed folders of the program but mistkly i removed the folder which contains the "Desktp" for all users (aslo removed from the recycle bin) which contain also data , links , fils etc.....
