Using a custom theme leaves me with Classic theme
I just got a new PC and I want to use a custom theme on it (I absolutely hate the default aero theme, especially after using a much nicer version of it for years on my old PC).
I download a theme. I use the UniversalThemePatcher (the 64-bit version since that is the one I have) to patch the 3 files (I did run it in Admin mode). I restart (and even now after opening it, it tells me that the files are correctly patched).
I copy the necessary theme files into Windows/Resources/Themes but when I open the theme it gives me classic windows. Even after restart.
I tried multiple themes, it's all the same.
I even restored the files with UTP and tried UxStyle. Still the same results.
I even tried to put the following commands into the elevated command prompt (because google told me to do so):
sc config uxpatch group= "File System"
sc config UnsignedThemes group= UIGroup
Still nothing.
