    Looking to Know where some theme data is stored

    I am trying to make a program to change the look of windows but I can not find where the data that controls the glass colour settings is stored.

    These settings

    I would be looking for a RGB(255,255,255)/#(#FFFFFF) or something like this (I assume that it is not like this or I would've found it, or it may just have been that I wasn't looking hard enough).

    If anyone knows where this data is stored some help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

    To add a little bit more information to what UsernameIssues posted look at the .theme file by right clicking on it and open it with notepad then look under [Control Panel\Colors] there you will find a list of items with the color code after each item.

    This information only shows up after you have made changes to the original theme and then saved it as a theme.

    That's why i couldn't find it.

    I hadn't made any changes or saved it.

    Is this what I should be looking at!!

    [VisualStyles]
    Path=%SystemRoot%\resources\themes\Aero\Aero.msstyles
    ColorStyle=NormalColor
    Size=NormalSize
    ColorizationColor=0XD9000000
    Transparency=0
    Composition=1
    VisualStyleVersion=10

    It doesn't make much sense to me, I changed all of the above settings and BUPKIS!! nothing changed, but when I change the glass colour save the theme in Control Panel they change.
