    Problems installing themes

    Hi all,

New to these forums. Had a quick Question. Whenever I try to install a new theme, all that shows up is the wallpaper. The color Schemes for the taskbar and windows stays the same as default and nothing else changes. Basically all that happens with a new theme install is new wallpaper. How can I fix this?

The default Win7 system config won't allow you to use non-MS themes.

If you check the customization tutorials, you will find two that deal with installing SW that allows you to use non-MS themes. One simply installs a service (the one I use), and the other makes changes to system files.

Once you do that and reboot, you will be able to use the non-MS themes.
