    Can't get back to original theme


    I installed the Static 2.0 metro theme, and even if I delete it from the personalization menu, my icons are still what the theme changed them too. How do I change them back to the original windows seven theme?

    This is the theme btw: Static + Static Polished + Static Mango by ~snipes2 on deviantART

    do a sfc scan that will revert the icons back.

    Thanks, and that changed my logon screen back to normal, but not the icons.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

    You might try Icon Cache - Rebuild
    If that doesn't work use this icon pack Win7 defalt iconpack installer by ~cutechinu on deviantART it has worked for others in the past, you may also have to rebuild the icon cache again after doing this.

Original Theme Help

Don't know what happen... But all of a sudden the default Windows 7 theme looks like a older os like in my ScreenShot below. Anyway I can change it back please? I tried restoring from a point but nothing. http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/7485/badwindows7outline.png
by this i mean i have windows 7 razorlight annihialtion, i dont like the themes or the startmenu pritty much the whole thing i want the original ones i had when i had windows 7 home edition. can this be done and how would i do it like is there are an installer of some sort or what????????????? ...
I changed the settings to boost performance and save battery, so now my Windows 7 Starter net book has the grey blocky classic look. I can't figure out how to change it back! I went System > System Properties > advanced > Settings > visual effects and changed them all back to 'adjust for best...
Original Theme files

Can anyone send me original files for UXtheme.dll, themeui.dll and themeservice.dll I've tried patching windows 7 so that I can use msstyles, but have failed twice, and pretty close to giving up on trying to customize the themes. At the moment, I've replaced all but themeservice, since I forgot...
