Changed ExplorerFrame.dll for theme, now I cant replace with backup

Hey how you guys doin. The other day I downloaded a theme that required you to copy the ExplorerFrame.dll, Shell32.dll and wmploc.dll. I renamed the originals to explorerframe.dll.original, etc. So last night I tried to install a CustoPack theme, and it had to make changed to the dll's. After installation, I restarted and it said explorerframe.dll couldn't run or something like that, so I restored my system to right before I installed that CustoPack (luckily I had one). Now, on a different theme i have running, everythings fine, except the explorer pane on the left of a window is the color of my old theme. It's no biggie but I just want my originals there. NOW, my issue is that I want to replace the current dlls (explorerframe.dll) with the backup (explorerframe.dll.backup). I tried to copy the backup to the desktop, change name, then copy to system32 to replace the themed one. It said I need some kind of permission (screen of that included). I included a couple of screenshots so maybe somebody can help me out. Sorry for the long post.

-I also forgot to mention that I have taken ownership over all .dll's in question.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

    1st tried:
Do Option 2 of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have. You may need to do this up to 3 times with a reboot after each scan. This will remove any custom .dll and try to replace them with the originals.

To properly change a system file you need to take ownership give yourself permission and rename the old file and then copy in the new one look at Post #6 of this thread will tell you how to do it Basic Networking Information

Thank you for your reply. One quick question before I do this though, will doing this alter my current theme I have installed? I have a few custom things going on which may or may not have made changes to .dll files. Either way I guess I can just change them back once I fix the original .dll problem.

Just make sure you save the theme 1st Theme - Change or Save
Only .dlls and explorer.exe will be changed with the scan.
