    can some one make start orbs from this?

    ive been trying but i suck, i want the outside transparent but i aint got a clue how to use photoshop.

    Are you looking for the original Windows 7 Start Orb...? If so, you can extract one from the explorer.exe file (using Resource Hacker for example).

    I don't think i can make this button, smaller.
    Maybe i'm lucky to download one,already modified and smaller.
    That's why i said " i have the default DPI settings, my resolution is 1920 x 1200 "

Ok so I was able to customize the start button on my Windows 7 Pro x64 box, but I am having two issues: 1. I can not see the customized start button in Remote Desktop it is just blank. (It apears breifly when I do a mouse over). 2. On mouse over only the black box flashes then disapears....

I tried editing my start button with Anolis Resourcer and now my whole taskbar is gone! I made a backup file of explorer.exe but I don't know how to get back to the way it was! Someone please help!
