    where is "desktop background"

I want to change the background for the login screen to the solid color background I'm using as the desktop background. I haven't been able to locate the desktop background picture in windows explorer in order to copy it. When I right click the solid color in "control panel>appearance and personalization>personalization" it doesn't bring up anything.

    We've got windows 7 pro x64.

    Help appreciated.

Hello Cisz, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

If you like, you could create a solid color image the same size as your screen resolution in Paint (mspaint.exe), and use that image for the lock screen.

    Log On Screen - Change
