No problem, here it is: Windows 7 Background Image Problem Fix

Hope it makes enough sense; even for inexperienced users. :)
So, where'd the tutorial go? I created it because it sounded like motc7 and WalkerA WinTeam advised me to do so; yet tonight it already seems to have been deleted.

Was there something wrong with it?

    similar problem

    Hi
Im sorry i know this is an old post but related, I cannot set up a wallpaper on win 7 starter because I did something I cannot remember to help me with mmorpg performance, went to some weird option and enabled a mode wich makes win 7 look like previous versions, some kind of minimalist mode to remove ram usage from the desktop enviroment.
Do u guys have any idea how to reverse it or how to find the option? I tried to find the forums ive been to but couldnt.. Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to our forum thorium

Not knowing what you have done I suggest reading this tutorial by Brink.
It will give you some guide lines.

Desktop Background Wallpaper - Change in Windows 7 Starter - Windows 7 Help Forums

By default the Windows 7 Starter and Windows 7 Home Basic editions do not include the Personalization features such as change desktop background, Desktop Slideshow, Screen Saver, and Windows Color and Appearance.
