How do i manually change my start Orb ? try this Cool start Orb tutorial

New FREE tool out to try :

Change your start Orb ( untested by me but it has good reviews)

Or try these FREE app's :

StartKiller to remove the start Orb completely and then use Openstartmenu to create a shortcut and pin it to your superbar ( Change the icon first to anything you wish before you pin it ) Very easy to do and takes up very little system resources. You can change your icon as often as you desire and place it anywhere you want on the Superbar. To reinstate the original start Orb , simply exit StartKiller via the system tray. (See attachments) Ive not got the original start orb , but you can see what i mean.

Icons :

Change your Icons tutorial

iconfx (FREE)to make some or just download icon packs from DeviantArt.

Mr Grims wicked icon Packs and assorted start orb replacements.

Hope that helps ?

I would also recommend WindowBlinds 7. Aside from changing the complete visual style, you can also "skin" Aero itself with colors and textures.

WindowBlinds 7

You can see some video examples here.
