    Hmm, i always thought themes for IE were decided by the theme you are running...

    You cant alter the default light blue theme as far as i know. Some aspects of IE 8 can be changed by using a visual style such as navigations buttons , status bar, search icon and aero glass but not the default blue colour scheme.
