Cannot Change Background?

    Cannot Change Background?


    It says that it has been disabled by the administrator, yet i am the network administrator?

    Any ideas?

    Hello Betty,

    You might double check these tutorials to see if they may be the issue with their group policies enabled.

    Desktop Background - Allow or Prevent Changing

    Desktop Background - Specify and Prevent Change

    None o the above have worked? I am a main administrator on my network and i am logged into my domain and it doesn't let me change?

    Log into one of the PCs with a local account and see if you can change the background.

    Just came across this hotfix.

    hello did you mean you joined domain?? check the permission of GPO.

    I am logged onto our domain to which i am an administrator on so don't have any restricted GPO's link to this user group in AD so that shouldn't be a problem,. i double checked them anyway and it shows nothing in there.

    I logged on locally and can change it but then i log back onto the domain and can't?
