Hi im planning to buy 30GB SSD for my PC which will of course work as a OS drive. I'm looking for a drive that should be reasonable in price and its performance. Here in my city i can find Kingston, Corsair and Intel SSD's but don't know if i can find 30GB capacity coz mostly 60GB and above are available. Also let me know if there are any reliable Websites that accept and ship orders internationally with reasonble shipping rates. I think getting a SSD in a courier wont be a problem as SSD's are completely shock proof ;) so please give me suggestions.

P.S. Let me know if there are any offers and discounts going on any website coz i just saw a video on youtube where a guy bought Corsair Force GT 90GB SSD for just $100 on offer

I would honestly go for at least 60gb. Windows 7 takes up quite a bit of space and you'll probably want to put a couple applications on there as well. I got a 120gb for my first SSD and I've used up at least 60gb. Although I did put a couple big applications on it like Photoshop, but I used well over 30gb before that.

my personal option would be to get a 240GB that is what i purchased as these days you would totally fill up that 30GB within a month if not before hand. i purchased to 3 months ago i only have 130GB free it is has installed is windows 7 COD4 & have few small programs I.E. anti virus firewall, skpe, video converter & all of windows 7 updates, and no more then 10 small programs.

the brand i have is "Sandisk SSD Extreme 240G "

money is always an issue but maybe hold off until you can afford a large HDD as this is what i tell me friends with bikes.
dont waste your money just save a little longer it will save you in the long run as you will not have to buy it/another again later on.

Save up for a larger SSD. 30gb won't get you very far with Windows 7.

You should put your Win 7 and your programs on the SSD. You are not getting the best use if you don't put your programs on it. That takes more than 30 GB. Look at the prices on New Egg and Tiger Direct. The prices are getting cheaper all the time. I got a 120 GB a couple months ago for $79.00 It was on special. Just check every once in a while and you will find the 24 hour special and get a good deal on one.

Hmmm you guys are right i might need more than 30GB space for the OS drive and it will be good idea to wait and save some more money and get a bigger and good one. WOW $79.00 for 120GB  that's awesome..Does newegg and TigerDirect ship to pakistan?

What about Ebay? Not every seller ships to Pakistan, but serious ones ship worldwide.

With 100 bucks plus shipping (total around 130 bucks) you get a SSD with 128 gigs.

this for example ships to pakistan and asks around 130 dollars (total) for a 128 gig SSD drive from Kingston.
(yes I know, that the site is Ebay.it, but ebay.com would not let me filter out the ones that don't sell to pakistan, the link is just an example, not a recommendation, search and see for yourself before making any decision)

You may need to save up for a bit more, but this makes sure you get the most bang for your buck.

nah, scratch that. Had a look and ebay cannot be used from pakistan unless you are really bent into doing it.

Annoying.
