OK, I will run 4GB only for a week, we will see if BSODs are happening.
PS: I removed Avast and installed MSE, still having problems (2 BSODs).

Where you got your system means nothing.

Your University is the only one that can provide the correct activation Key.
NO one else,
the website is a link for registered students giving you access to download them, thats all.

You said, that key is proper for the ultimate version - may I install Ultimate using this key?

Winio mate are you sure the university uses Ultimate - seems a tad overkill to me and facilities like that are usually using the Enterprise version unless the system where you live does things differently to most governmental sites I have worked at.

Look at the picture I have posted, here is from the Microsoft Imagine site (I logged on my Univ. account) - Windows 7 x64 professional + key that I used to register. What is more I had no problems with systems from Microsoft Imagine on my previous computer(s), so in my opinion it may be some faulty driver, because hardware is checked and working.
