Not only *is* there such an extension for "Read it Later" but you've also got save session, save page, or add page to speed dial? Don't understand what's the lack of functionality here...

I'm uncertain why your distinguishment really makes any difference, however Opera is also capable of saving C&P'd content to a note. In short there are a number of ways of saving content locally, and I must say it's rather easier to achieve this in Opera than some other browsers...

I've been using Opera for a little over a year. They have some improvements to make, but it's a great browser IMO
