Access the "Levels" tab of my speakers' properties directly?

Hi.

I have to turn down my subwoofer volume at night, (bitchy neighbors) and turn it back up the next day.
The only way to do it via software is by going to the "Levels" tab of my speakers' properties:

Is there anyway way to - for example - create a shortcut that links directly to that tab, or at least directly to those speakers' properties?

Or is there any other small tool or software that could sit in my tray and give me faster access to those settings?

(It really is only about the subwoofer volume, i.e. just one of the channels needs to go down.)

Alternatively, is there any way to re-sort the stuff that is listed in the "levels" tab?
Because, not only do I have to click a bunch of times to get to that tab, I then have to scroll down half a mile past all sorts of stuff like "rear green in", "rear black in", bla bla bla.

(Yes, I am lazy and I dont care! )

If you install the Realtek drivers, an app will show up in the tray after reboot. It is not very handy but will give you faster access definetely.

I do have them installed, and the tray app is there, but it doesn't give me control over the seperate channels - i can merely regulate the overall volume there.

audio driver version is 6.0.1.6029
.. do I need newer / different ones?

Under "Advanced settings" or that folder icon, there must be an option the treat the channels individually, and not as a single device. Hope this will really help

no luck there either, there are just some boxes with various settings to tick or untick there.
The option that seperates the input jacks is for recording, not for playback.

Im going to install the latest drivers now, see if that helps.


//edit: no change using the .6410 drivers :S

I've found a tool that does what I want and then some. Unfortunately, it's not free, but it just might be worth it.

It's called "Power Mixer" ..trial available here.. Windows audio mixer, Power Mixer, Volume control utility, VolumeLock

it supports presets, scheduling, keyboard shortcuts - pretty neat as far as I can tell atm.

Don't you have a volume knob on the subwoofer?
I dont have 1 soo i dunno
