Adobe flash player/windows 7

i have windows 7 and im trying to download Adobe Flash player and all i get is a blank Box it says system installer and i turned my anti virus off and still nothing can anyone help please

EDIT: If you've got old versions installed run through all the steps here after downloading the removal tool:

If you get the same problem with downloading (the uninstall tool) from that link try:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Macromedia-Flash-Player-Uninstaller.shtml

You still need to delete the files/ folders listed in the previous link and reboot before installing the latest version.
