Almost 85 PUP Malwares not Detected by Avast Free Antivirus 2015....

I am using "Avast Antivirus Free 2015".When i ran the Full System Scan,the Antivirus didn't found a single Virus or Malware.

I had seen somewhere on youtube that,having "Malwarebytes Anti Malware" works great along with your regular Free/Complete Antivirus Software for complete protection.So,i installed "Malwarebytes Anti Malware".After scanning,it detected almost 85 PUP Malwares,which i quarantined with the help of "Malwarebytes Anti Malware".I would like to mention that the "Scan for potentially unwanted programs (PUPs)" is check Marked in my Avast,which you can see from the attached Picture # 2 (Below) of Avast General Settings.

Now,does this means that my Free Avast Antirus 2015 isn't effective OR PUP Malwares are no big deal?

Avast is one of the best free Anti-virus programs out there. You need a few different tools to get everything off of your PC. Avast doesn't typically scan for PUPS by default, typically I believe you have to place a checkmark in the box you show for Avast.

Avast is going to be really good at blocking viruses above all else. You will want to continue to scan with Avast and Malwarebytes as well as programs like Superantispyware, Adwcleaner and/or Junkware removal tool. Now as a warning, running all of these, even if up to date, does not ensure a clean system.. There are a lot of places to look and clean on an infected computer.

Yes it is completely fine to delete those files. I would probably do a full scan with several programs.

Here is a good guide you can follow. Its focused on Pricegong, which you have as a Pup (shows on the pictures you posted) but it works for a lot of the other pups that may have hijacked your PC and browsers.

Yes it is completely fine to delete those files. I would probably do a full scan with several programs.

Thank you.One question,i would like to install more prgrams along with my "Avast" & Malwarebytes anti malware".But wouldn't they conflict with each other?.Such as , let's say,i now install "Hitman Pro" so, now i will be having "Avast Free Antivirus 2015" + "Malwarebytes anti Malware" + "Hitman Pro"...

Becasue, the scan result contains file types , such as "Registry Values & Registry Keys"..I just went through a tough phase of dealing with BSOD some days ago & i am worried not to bump in that scary thing again....

Anything quarantined will eventually be removed I believe 30 days or so ?
Run adwcleaner...

Ok....There are 3 Log Files , which are of XML File Type..I have copy and pasted their information in to a Notepad & attached them as 3 txt. Files ....

I did a Complete Computer Scan through "Malwarebytes Anti Malware".The scanned results gave 4 infected Malwares.3 Malwares were of,PUP type and 1 Malware was of , Trojan type.I have attached the Log information in the form of txt file.

I do not wish to install Adwarecleaner (Hope you won't mind ).I only want to have "Avast Free Antivirus 2015" & "Malwarebytes Anti Malware".So,if you can just reassure me by looking at this txt. file & my older 3 txt. files that, is it safe to delete them (Quarentined Malwares) from "Malwarebytes Anti Malware" ' s Quarentine section or not...I will really appreciate that

Adwcleaner will remove different things than Malwarebytes, your anti virus and even superantispyware. Unless you know all the places to go to find the things Adwcleaner typically removes, its best to download and run it. Its a small program that can be easily uninstalled after you use it. An alternative would be Junkware Removal tool but I typically run both if I'm cleaning a computer.

Adwcleaner will remove different things than Malwarebytes, your anti virus and even superantispyware. Unless you know all the places to go to find the things Adwcleaner typically removes, its best to download and run it. Its a small program that can be easily uninstalled after you use it. An alternative would be Junkware Removal tool but I typically run both if I'm cleaning a computer.

Alright then, I shall give these two a try...But , will these 2 (Adware Cleaner & Junkware removal tool) conflict with "Malwarebytes Anti Malware" or my regular "Avast Free Antivirus 2015" ?

The mbam log file shows you ran a Threat scan not a custom Full scan,
You also did not check to scan for Rootkits

Adwcleaner is really good and really fast
It is also a one time scanner so you'd be uninstalling it after cleaning what it finds.

I don't know much about JRT but it's pretty much a on deman scanner so it won't effect other security utilities

You'd be better off with Panda.

It is a mistake to NOT use AdwCleaner....

First, it is portable, and not truly 'installed', in the traditional sense; yes, there is a folder created (for containing quarantined items, and text report purposes), but, it can be deleted afterwards.

You have multiple adware TOOLBARS... (PUPS)

Rescan with AdwCleaner, This time click on the Clean button.
Press OK when asked to close all programs and follow the onscreen prompts.
Press OK again to allow AdwCleaner to restart the computer and complete the removal process.
After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S#].txt) will open automatically (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).

***Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
A copy of that logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder

Do NOT save as XML File Type.... Just save as .txt with a 'name', if needed.
