AMD 9 Series Mobos Still Can’t Embrace SLI Until NVIDIA Driver Updated

At the beginning of this month, AMD has released the 900-series
chipsets for the AM3/AM3+ processors and one of the most
important features brought by this new design was support for
Nvidia's SLI technology.
Now, more than a week after the release of these chipsets, SLI still
isn't enabled as Nvidia has yet to release a driver that supports
dual-GPU setups.

lol :p
Not all that funny I suppose, but quite a 'fail' for nVidia and AMD. They have to share the blame I suppose even if nVidia is to blame.

They have to share the blame

I disagree. The chipset itself has no issues in this regard. And as shown, the problem is due to a deficiency in the video drivers.

Perhaps, but I'm assuming that AMD released this chipsets advertising that they have nVidia's SLI Technology. Surely they could have waited until nVidia released a stable driver that's compatible with these particular chips? But yes, I do see what you're saying. Technically, it isn't AMD's fault. The chipsets aren't faulty at all, it's just the drivers.

Why would you choose Nvidia with AMD? That makes no sense. Might as well go all AMD, or Intel + Nvidia.

Did AMD lie?!...

Surely they could have waited until nVidia released a stable driver that's compatible with these particular chips?

Your point would make sense if nVidia had to wait for a correction in the chipset and ONLY IF it does not have support for CrossfireX. After all, AMD has its own market of graphics cards to maintain.

But yes, I do see what you're saying. Technically, it isn't AMD's fault. The chipsets aren't faulty at all, it's just the drivers.

That's the real point: "it isn't AMD faulty".

Why? It is because I like Nvidea as all my video cards have been Nvidea. I also like AMD's price/preformace ratio. I don't want to switch to ATI/AMD Video card, but I can't afford Intel CPU/Mobo even if I wanted.
