Animated Cursor Problem

Hey everyone, this is my first post here :) Anyway, I just got a new Dell Inspiron 1545 with 7 home premium. Whenever I startup the computer, the cursor changes to the spinning blue circle thing, just as it should. It works normally for a few seconds, and then it stops spinning. The cursor is not distorted or anything, the animation just stops. As it spins for the first few seconds the computer is on, I assumed that a program that autostarts with windows is causing the problem. I installed Quick Startup and disabled practically everything, which didn't work. I went into the pointers tab of the mouse properties, and when I select the Busy or Working in Background cursors, the preview in the upper right of the window is very laggy, although I'm pretty sure this isn't a graphic problem as the computer runs the aero theme smoothly. Also, I tried downloading and using someone else's .ani file, because I thought that mine might be corrupted somehow, which didn't work either. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I'm having the same problem too, and though it's not causing any problems...it's just really annoyng.

I don't know what that means, mate.
I'm also having this same issue.

Copied new ani files from working machine but no difference.

I've also tried windows 7 enterprise (work copy) but that also made no difference.

I've since used the recovery partition on my Packard bell TJ65 but I still have the issue.

Anyone got any advice on how to fix??

Cheers in advance

Cursor animation doesn't work!!!

My cursor animation is not working for windows 7! It is driving me insane, although a small problem.

Any suggestions?
