Thanks man. I agree that normally "you get what you pay for" which is why I posted. Didn't want to get any (New)egg on my face.

But every now and then I score more than I paid, like a Kingston 8gb Data Traveler for $17 which I've carried all my tools on in my pocket for 3 years now.

Usually it's from buy.com and Newegg, dropped in my emailbox every day.

Looks like everyone jumped on that Asus adaptor because they showed it as sold-out right after you posted. It's funny how the some reviews are great and other just say don't buy it LOL!
I still need a good wireless network adaptor for my garage computer but I'll probably go Dlink because of my router.

I could really use a USB flash drive for putting all the computer fixing software on it like you just mentioned. That would really come in handy and easier than carrying around a stupid cd.

Yeah I never go anywhere without my Kingston Data Traveler. It has Win7 files in a folder, but whenever I want to boot the installer I only have to spill them out into the root as it's written to install.

Then there's XP, partitioning, cleanup/defrag tools, Rescue ISO, Works, several Offices, AV's, bootable HD diag and memtest, etc. etc.

Everything is backed up in my Downloads folder. I thought I had lost it so bought another one last month for $15 on Buy.com, but it turned up so that's now a backup, too.

The prices inch downwards, showing up a little cheaper every couple months on buy.com or Newegg. Get their emails to not miss out.
