Solved Any problematic experience with Sapphire Hd7770 Ghz Ed?

I bought this (http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1159&pid=1723&psn=&lid=1&leg=0) card yesterday, runs just fine. Was just browsing through reviews, and came across a review that said something about manufacturing defect that renders it useless after 2/3 weeks?! I'm giving the link, any of you guys experience any problems with this model? Please share. Thank you.

LOL! Do not believe ONE guy in an amazon review ON ANYTHING, EVER.

There are people paid to smear things on there.

Hardware companies MIGHT get a bad batch once in a while, but always bad is ridiculous, they do have internal testing, ya know.

Why are you looking up your card after purchase, anyway? You a masochist?!!!!

I know, I know...there was no way I could've gone with 7850, it's too much costly here compared to US/European markets. No sir, I'm not a masochist !!!
The Amazon one was research for my non-resident buddy in another state who has to buy everything online, which I don't prefer. I like to go through local markets, gives you a wide variety of prices and good after-sales support. I only buy books and software online

Cross that bridge when you get to it, don't go looking for trouble, everything SUCKS on the internets.

Besides, I didn't buy that story, a company rep should not be saying his product line is defective, that is taking sympathy with the customer one notch too far. Probably the guys last day!

That's what seemed very strange to me, a customer rep. saying that the line is defective. I haven't had any experience with Sapphire so far, but I've heard good things. This one attracted my attention specifically because of that story

Error while uninstalling ATI Catalyst

Oh by the way, I've been encountering an error pop-up while uninstalling Catalyst drivers everytime for the last 3/4 times on the previous card-but strangely the uninstaller continued without apparent problems! What does it mean, I'm curious what could've cause this:-

I always got that when running ATI cards. A minor issue as they are good cards, just glitch installing sometimes.

Random and common software glitch then? Okay. If only AMD would improve their driver installer faster!

Well I prefer they don't just rush rush rush, that is what leads to bad drivers.

I don't upgrade my driver, video card wise, if the current is working well, unless there is something specific in the update notes, that I want.

There are 3rd party tools like Ashampoo's Uninstaller (costs $) that you run installs through and it logs everything, so it can then FULLY uninstall it when the need arises, recommended for anyone doing a lot of installs.

True, but even their uninstaller tool has had a lot of problems with different users. I wish they took a little bit of more care [usually Nvidia drivers used to do that when I had my 9600gt]...AMD has had a lot of time to rectify their problems, I don't want super fast upgrades!

Good idea about the 3rd party Uninstaller, but when uninstalling drivers, will they resume their job after the mandatory reboot?

After an uninstall is complete, you can probably do the new install right away, if you reboot, you will just wind up with the default generic driver, and then reinstall then.

Don't make it sound like brain surgery, it's not that bad.

You never know with Catalyst

You always have safe mode as your backup plan.

And then 7's System Recovery if that fails. (via booting the install DVD).
