anyone have working audio driver for a dell d600

so i had mine working, did a reinstall of windows 7 and lost the driver now cant find it, anyone know what we used to get the sound working on the dell d600s?

Problem solved

so i had mine working, did a reinstall of windows 7 and lost the driver now cant find it, anyone know what we used to get the sound working on the dell d600s?

Search for Realtek ac97vista_6305 download --> unzip --> High light the sound missing component under Device Manager, then update by point to the directory you just unzip the ac97vista_6305.

That would be it.

For missing wireless driver, just plug your Ethernet to your network, then do windows update; the windows update will update your wireless drive.

Go to Dell.com support, download drivers, and download R90698 for sound and R133052 for the Ethernet port.

find your service tag and download the correct driver from dell.com. It should be on the bottom of your laptop. I wouldn't trust any 3rd party sites that offer driver downloads.. many of them want you to install driver detective, which is bogus scareware.
