Are wireless headphones any good?

Nothing at all wrong with them. Spend a few bucks if you want decent sound, if sound quality is not that important to you go the cheaper ones. I have these and for me they do what I desire, Bose QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones, a bit pricey for some people but good. Have a look through here and it may give you an idea of what is suitable for your needs.

Actually my boy has a pair of these for using with his tv, and some music. for the price the sound isn't to bad. If your not an audiophile they will probably suit your needs. BTW the phones I use are not wireless, not reading the post properly.
