Hi there Tews. What did you think about the other firewalls like Online Armor or PCTools ? Is Comodo come again first place in front of these firewalls?

I have used Comodo (only the Firewall) probably for two years and now had it installed on Seven since I upgraded from Vista about 6 weeks ago now.
I like it and have become very comfortable with it and have not encountered any issues with it running on Windows 7

I'm no security expert, but what's wrong with Windows' built in Firewall for the home user?
I have used Windows FW for 2 years without a single problem. I can't understand why people endeavour to use 3rd party software when the software that's bundled with the OS suffices.
Anyone care to enlighten me? :)

From what i have heard there is nothing at all wrong with Windows Firewall it just comes down to personal choice.
I have used Comodo Firewall for a long time now and as i said i have become very comfortable with it and it has never failed me.
I can monitor traffic from my taskbar & easily manipulate rules for it.

If someone asked the question "which firewall should i use" i would probably suggest stick with windows firewall as third party firewalls can take a bit of setting up and getting used to. :)

My initial response was to the question asked at the start of the thread "what people thought of Comodo Firewall"

It's the same as most then.....personal preference.

Yes i think so, if someone asked who was useing XP i would suggest seriously consider a third party Firewall
As for the average home user, for example my daughter she just wants set and forget security so she uses MSE & Windows Firewall
(Good security, but just do your job & dont bother me unless there is a problem)
Where as myself i like to play around and manipulate my security as it is a bit of a hobby for me so i use Comodo Firewall & Avast.
So as you say personal preference, just what ever takes your fancy
