ASP.NET machine account login issue

the ASP.NET machine account is the administrator and i know its password. The problem is that when I try to change anything on the computer it asks for the password, but after I type it in, it says: login failure the user has not been granted the requested logon type. The ASP.NET account does not show up when I start the computer, and this computer has one account aside from it. Help?

You get that account after a Windows update to .NET. you can delete it unless you are doing some software development.
