I wonder if anybody could help. I am scoring a 4.5 for graphics on this card(less than my old 8800gt) and games performance is slower. I have the latest drivers but still no improvement.

AMD tricore running at 3Ghz
Win 7 64
4Gb Ram

Any body help please?

Reason for that is you went from what was a mid-high end card for its time, to what is essentially an entry level/low end card. Despite its age the 8800 GT is a much better card.

The 8800gt was £250 at launch 4 years ago (I bought one)

520 is sub £100. Speaks for itself

Thank you. What would you recommend as a decent to to expensive upgrade. I never really done my research.

Thanks again

Comes down to 2 things basically,

1. How much you're looking to spend.

2. Power supply, not all power supplies are created equal. You list a 700 W in your specs, but without make and model it doesn't help much. Not saying yours is one of them but I have seen some 700 W power supplies that aren't any better (and considerably worse in some respects) than a good quality 350 W.
