Yes it must work as long as you not start from 'media' key.

wich operating system are you using? because for vista there is such a driver package wich would include booting with the ATI vga.

The problem i have is with windows XP, and i believe windows 7 has a similar issue...

No problems orginaly with Windows Vista 32 bits. Problems comes by installing Windows Seven 64bits.

There is no upgrade from ACER to a Windows Vista 32 bits to a Seven 64 bits. So I have to install one from Microsoft DVD.

I think that the problem is solved now, because ACER have released ATI Drivers and Launchmanager. So under windows Seven 64 bits it's now possible to switch between GPU (PC booting on Intel GPU), and peoples don't have anymore the need to start by the media key to force the ATI GPU and install ATI drivers.

But I am not sure that starting again by the media will not cause lags again.

Yo,

Yeah, I am using Win7 64bit, I upgraded from Vista 32bit where it used to work fine. The updates will definitely work as I was waiting for ages for the new driver and application.

Give it a go.

Lemme know
