I used McAfee in the past. But I ended up uninstalling it. It's not that it has bad detection or prevention rate. It is good but it was slowing down my PC.
Now I am using Norton Internet Security 2010 untill I decide which security setup to build on my system.

Have to say I'm pretty happy with how the free products made out in this test. Both MSE and Avast Beta 5 finished just below the top 2. I'm fine with that. I personally will never have another Symantec product on my system (long story but my choice) and Kaspersky scans are too slow, not to mention how it bogged down my system. Avast is doing very well for a beta product currently.
