AVG Free 9.0 temporary switch-off?

To install Sibelius 6 you are strongly advised to switch off anti-virus.
How to do this with Windows 7 for AVG Free 9.0 please?

Tools >> Advanced Settings >> Resident Shield ... Disable resident shield ..
Don't forget to turn it back on..

You open the control center. Double click the resident shield and then untick the option Turn on AVG Resident Shield Protection.When you're done re-activate once again.

Thanks for suggestion, alwinwinjoe and noyb, but it doesn't seem to apply to 9.0 Free.
Anyway I've used a method found in an AVG forum: after disconnecting internet, run msconfig and unclick AVG from Start-up list. Restart. After doing whatever (installing Sibelius 6 for me), reverse procedure, restart then reconnect. I see AVG say they will restore the disable function in the next version.

You could've just went to task manager and force quitted it. I also noticed that the disable function was gone since 8.5 =)
