Battery Level Indicator for Netbook

I have just obtained an Asus Eee 1015PED Netbook and the battery indicator doesn't appear to be very accurate. Can anyone recommend a reliable replacement. I have googled but would appreciate some recommendations from a user. Thanks.

Not free, but I have used it in the past as a battery tester.

Thanks for that. I would prefer a free one, or perhaps one not quite as expensive. But will give it a go if nothing else turns up. Cheers.

No battery indicator will be accurate. It is not possible.
They will get the same information Windows is already getting.

Want a more accurate reading you need hardware that reports accurately.
Your hardware obviously does not.

Never owned a laptop myself, but there are many battery indicator gadgets, you'd have to try some to see if they are more accurate. I suspect that what logicearth says is right, they all use the same info.
