Dear US people, (damn you getting it 4 days before uk)

could you kindly let me know if theres a pre launch patch when you guys get the game. As with my internet it would take a long while to patch the game, and i want to jump straight into online play!

I've read there is/was a launch day patch for the game.

just did a little research and yes there is a pre launch patch, but only available via origin... so no chance of getting it before release. i know its unrelated but xbox version has 167mb pre launch patch.

Well if your in AU you could be playing it as soon as anyone else..earlier even maybe...guys on OCAU have found you can register the game via a Korean VPN which will let you play the SP at least.
We also have 3 servers rented (2 for sure atm) consisting of 1x64 conquest and 1x32 Rush and the third (if we get the numbers) will be either another 32 Rush server or a T/S DM x24 server.

And I'd bet money that there will be a patch as soon as you install rofl.

Just checked the BF3 thread on OCAU..sod's are playing online already...registered the game via a Korean VPN...lol

Patch was around 472 MB after installing.
