BENQ monitor information question

Hi
I have question about LED 22" BENQ GL2250.
if someone usng this monitor, orany other 22" benq can u switch to res. 1280x720 and tell me what kind of scrween i can expect, imeanis it throught full screen or what?
i had 20"but it died in earthquake and there is no any to buy.
i know that res. isnt good for monitor but this is only can see besides 800x600.
please help.

According to this- GL2250 Specifications l BenQ | BenQ Asia Pacific

it supports 1080p which is much better than 720p.
