Best browser for Windows 7 64-bit

What are your guy's opinions on the browser selection for Windows 7?

I'm currently running Firefox 3.5.3, but I'm not happy with its performance in 64-bit Windows. I get a lot of crashes while watching videos, and poor performance (some full screening some videos will result in lag).

Does anyone know if Chrome run better in 7?

I'm using Google Chrome. The best browser out there! Fast and reliable. I haven't given Opera 10 a shot yet, but it seems like it's got great support with Win 7.

I downloaded and now use the Minefield releases of Firefox. It's the latest build and they are running extremely fast for me on Win7 and I've had no issues to speak of. So, maybe you can just give this a try...rather than having to move completely away from Mozilla firefox.

firefox is the way to go.

I used to think so too. I've been on Mozilla's side since Fx 2.0. Changed my mind immediately when I used Chrome the first time! Firefox feels so cluttered and bulky compared to Chrome. But that's just personal taste.

Well, it has support for user-scripts, and will have an even bigger repository of them soon.

I think I'll try Fx Minefield the following days. Heard it's faster than Chrome. If it is, I'll go back to the furry fox :D

It's lightning fast. Although it spontaneously crashes from time to time. Understandable. We'll see how it performs all-round this week...

Plugins have to be coded for 64 bit I believe.
Also there's no flash player for 64 bit browsers.
Adobe says they are working on it... I think they said that atleast a year ago.

Reluctantly, I have to give nods to IE8. I use it for the basics; Hotmail, YouTube and other Flash-enabled sites. I also use it for my MSDN subscription.

Minefield is what I use for general surfing. It's a fully x64 application and allows me to run AdPlus, the ad blocker add-on.

Until Adobe get of their humps and provide x64 Flash, I have to use two browsers.

I am positively surprised by Minefield. One of the fastest browsers out there now! Compared to Chrome Dev Channel, it's über. Maybe it's because Chrome is dev.. Who knows.
