Windows 7 Pro 64 bits

At the initial Windows screen, suddenly, my screen turns black each 5 seconds and came to normal after that. This only happens with I´m in the initial Windows screen. When I´m browsing pages or seeing youtube videos, screen is nomal (that is there´s no blink of screen). I checked everything, like, monitor cables, CPU temperature (which is absolutely within parameters, all drivers are OK and updated, memory is OK no problems, no dlls corrupted in Windows, video card works smoothly with no problems, but the black screen persists. I tried to isolate the problem, but no go. Any ideas of what´s happening?

Presumably this only started happening recently? Your win7 installation did not have this behaviour before ?

Yes, this behaviour only happened a few days ago. But now the screen is always blinking at the windows initial screen. Somebody told me that seems to be something related to electronic circuits in GPU, because the PC has more than 10 y.o

Hi guys. I solved the problem. Three weeks ago, Geforce Experience asked me to upgrade my video card to a 474.11 driver. Then my screen began to blink. I uninstalled everything related to Nvidia and then updated driver using Windows and system showed me that the most update driver was the one from 15/06/2020 (26.21.14.4614). After this procedure the screen stops blinking. Thank you guys for helping me
