Blinking Cursor line before Windows starts

Hi all.
Hope this is in the right section.

I have just performed a clean install of Windows 7 Home and everything is running great.

Once slight little problem I have is a blinking cursor line ( _ ) on a black screen as soon as I boot up my laptop, just before the Windows Starting screen. It's only there for around 10 seconds but I'd like my bootup to be a little quicker.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Many thanks
Chris

Do you have any dual boot setup or anything like that?

If not:
You could also look under system properties, advanced, startup and recovery and uncheck the option for time to display list of operating systems.

Click ok and ok and restart

Please post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image
so we can look over the configuration.

Run a few Startup Repairs to check over your startup.

Make sure you have the latest BIOS update, reset BIOS to defaults after taking note of SATA controller setting which should be AHCI.

You can go over your install thoroughly using Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 .

Compare the install you did to the perfect install compiled in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to see if you might want to do it over. You'll get and keep a perfect install to the exact extent you stick with the steps, tools and methods in that tutorial.
