Bluetooth mice problems

I have three laptops I like to use Blu tooth mice to save me a USB port and having broken dongles and losing them.
So I have bought a few Blu tooth mice some cheapish ones off EBay but also a Microsoft Sculpt, a Logitec M557 and a Rapoo 6080.
Now apart from the Rapoo the others work very intermittently and sometimes for days on end and then cease working every few minutes - it seems to have no rhyme or reason.

I have done most of the things I can think of ie chkdsk, sfc, malware scans, drivers for the mice, and machines, cleaned the lens on the mice changed batteries so often I have lost track.

So any ideas please??

Sitting too far away from the laptop itself?

Uninstalled the Bluetooth drivers?

Have you tried switching mouses and laptops?

Have you checked if there is any message in Event Viewer?

Thanks Boris no mate have even sat the mouse on top of the laptop while pairing and some ice don't have drivers - _ I will try doing the ones that have got drivers again.
The sculpt by Microsoft I think is bundled in with the Microsoft keyboard centre I will try reinstalling that too.

What I don't get is they are working fine one second yet in a heartbeat stop or get jittery. Like I think I said I tried cleaning the lens and trying very patterned pads but still the same thing.

Yet the cheap Rapoo works on a smooth table top
