BootMgr compressed error , now recovery disc is incorrect ?! help pls

Hi have the old bootmgr compressed problem . i found some windows recovery discs . did all the right things . it went to windows log in screen but a window then came up saying AI Recovery ... This recovery DVD/BD is not for this model check again ? Now what am I to do please ? Someone kindly help me . many thanks

I have only seen "BOOTMGR" compressed error screen when a user applies NTFS compression on " C" drive while the "C" drive serves both as "System" and "Boot" partition. That is if there is no "System Reserved" partition on the system, "C" drive will be the active on partition and all booting related files including "bootmgr" will be saved on "C" by default. In that situation, compressing "C" in turn will compress "Bootmgr" also but the boot loader code on the boot sector is not capable of performing complex operations like NTFS decompression and hence will display an error message if compression is detected.

The easiest way to fix this is to boot from a "System Repair" disc or "Windows Install Disc" and use the "Compact" command to decompress the "Active" volume. You can create a "System Repair" disc from any working Win7 installed machine.
