Over the last few weeks / month. My system has been regularly crashing & shutting down on its own. This happens mostly when I leave my system idle for a few minutes to few hours. Sometime I get to see the BSOD, but usually by the time I get to my system has automatically shut down. When I press the power button, it restarts with the message your system did not shut down properly, do you want to restart in safe mode?

I have attached all the SF Diagnostic files, would appreciate feedback.

Thanks

Arg4: 0000000000000000
So it is the cause of your BSOD as it is visible. A fatal error occured while preparing the hibernate file.

And the reason behind it is the small free space in C drive.

ITEM|VALUE
Drive | C:
Size | 120.00 GB (128,849,014,784 bytes)
Free Space | 26.62 GB (28,582,150,144 bytes)

hiberfile.sys is a large file ... so the problem is taking place.

Do two things.

  1. First, disable hibernate. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/819-hibernate-enable-disable.html
  2. Next , free up some space in C drive. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/129976-hard-disk-space-free-up-recover.html
Let us know the results.
