bsod caused by gpu

i think there is a problem with my gpu because sometimes i got this message((display driver stopped responding and has recovered))
and sometimes got bsod
my gbu (amd radeon mobility hd 5000 series)
cpu(core i5 )
windows 7 ultimate x64
so is the proplem with the gpu or with the driver

This could be due to driver, bad hardware or even over heating.

First thing you should try is to clean out the laptop for dust.

Second, uninstall the drivers you are using currently and run Display Driver Uninstaller. This will remove the remains of any bad file that might be causing the BSOD or driver crashes. Then install the latest available drivers for your card.
