My system is crashing and either locking up (Frozen image on screen, sound stuttering whatever it had been playing before the crash on a loop, no response at all to any keystrokes) or crashing to the dreaded BSOD . This happenes 1-10 min after I join a game in Battlefield 3.

I played in Beta and had no crashes. The only change to the PC since then has been to update the graphics drivers.

It is a fairly old system, about 3-4 years, and has had the OS reinstalled about 2 months ago.

A lot of reports of crashes for this game.
I don't think it was really ready for release personally, having played the beta.

I have read that changing the folder name to where the little (tm) isn't there anymore has fixed problems for some people.

I don't have that in my directory names? Oh well, thanks anyway.

yeah I think that only occurs if you install from disc, if you download on ea store or steam I don't think it creates that folder name.

Report it to ea and hope a patch is soon to come.
From what I understand the released game is only one patch up on the beta.
