This all started a few months ago. I'm really not sure what is causing it and it just keeps getting more frequent. From what I can tell I'm not doing anything different when it happens. I've tried to use bluescreenview but it never populates with any information and when I look in my minidump folder its empty. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :) Just let me know if you need anymore info.

I did that when I first started using BSV, and I followed option 1. for it to create the small dump files. It still isn't creating them. Should I try option two?

Its done. Do I need to restart?

Also when it does go to blue screen it says something about doing something for crash dump files and there is the first step and then it goes to the second step I can't remember what words they use at the moment but it takes a really long time for it to finish and then come up with the message to contact the administrator if it continues. Is that normal?

Edit: I did it for small memory dump, is that right?

yes 100%. The only thing I'd want to triple check is that the location matches where to save the files too is correct in option one but I am about 97% sure that it is because I looked over all of it yesterday.
