This happens whenever I run a particular app that happens to be a steam title. I have done as much trouble shooting as i know how wich has included fresh OS loads and memory checking. Nothing. BTW, this is a brand new rig with quality hardware, and only used for gaming. I dont even surf the web with this rig. I suspected Bit Defender as a culprit and switched to MS security essentials, obviously problem has not gone away. This is the error message:

Well, I think I have found the culprit. One of my graphics cards in SLI is bad (or going bad). This is such a great web site for help, I really appreciate it. Thank you.

No problem, you're welcome. :)

"PNY GTX460-OC in SLI"

I would try reducing the cards clocks.
