occurring almost every single hour (without any real pattern however, just happening very often)

every few BSOD shutdowns, the laptop will not start and the caps lock blinks 4x. according to HP's LED code, 4 flashes indicates a problem with the graphics controller, but perhaps i have installed a bad graphics driver or something as HP's website often gives drivers for the wrong laptops -_-

any help would be greatly appreciated as i cannot take this anymore!

please see attached for the necessary files required by sevenforums for BSOD diagnosis

system info: HP dm4, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1

every few BSOD shutdowns, the laptop will not start and the caps lock blinks 4x.
This is definitely a hardware fault, as your issue occurs before Windows is started.
Drivers are not causing this since these are loaded during the startup process

Moreover your blinking Caps Lock indicate a hardware fault

According to your attachment dumps are enabled but not being written to the HDD again as a cause of hardware failure.

I would recommend sending this laptop to HP if still under warranty
