Gentlemen and Ladies,

I apologize in advance for any complete n00bness, this is my first time posting on a tech forum. And thank you in advance for anyone helping.

I have a pc that I have rebuilt myself a piece at a time of the last 2 years, was bought as a custom system 4 years ago. I recently (last month or so) have been receiving a BSOD only when attempting to play Archeage. The game was in beta but will be released in the next day or so. I get the BSOD in different places/stages of the games, sometimes in loading, sometime in the title sequence, and a few time I make it into gameplay but the screen locks and the system reboots.

I have tried to gather as much information as possible. Briefly, I ran Prime95 (blend test) for 6 hours, no errors, memtest64, no errors (only ran once though). My system is pretty cool (temperature-wise) and clean.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

~Reckligence

Sorry about that, I thought I uploaded them.

I don't think that it is the game specifically but I have no real reason why. I guess I am pessimistic/bracing for the worst. I also did the CPU chip replacement and the motherboard swap...I am not too confident I did it right.

Thank you for the fast response also.

No problem about the files. There seems to be something wrong with the files you did upload. You uploaded the correct files, but there were no dump files in them. Now you uploaded the dump files without the supporting files, the really should be all in the same upload. What I am finding is 2 listing Hardware errors which are very generic and give no clue as to which piece of hardware it is. I did manage to find some drivers in them, but I'm not confident they are the real cause of your problem.

Code:
Rt64win7
start end module name

That is your Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC. Please make sure this is your Motherboard and download the updated driver from there GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-970A-UD3 (rev. 3.0)

Also found was your graphics card driver

Please follow these instructions to get a clean install and not install parts that are not needed and can conflict with other drivers.

You didn't sound too confident in your build. Is there anything in particular you can tell me that is causing you to be concerned? also, has it been doing this since you built it or is it more recent? Please provide us with as much information as you can as to what software or hardware you may have installed just before the problems started or is there any one thing in particular that you do that causes these BSODs.

Also, if you don't mind, please run the
http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

And use option #2 and press the 'Grab All' button and just give it a couple of minutes to work. Try updating those drivers and see if things improve any at all. If you don't understand the instructions on anything or have questions about anything I ask you to do, or just questions in general, I do not mind a bit explaining things or explaining why I am asking you to do something.

Sorry again. I ran the SF Diagnostic tool again and attached the grab all results. Hopefully I got it right.

I haven't had a BSOD with the system until trying to play the Archeage game. I did have some minor heat issues awhile ago (a year or so ago), new fan installed and things seemed fine. Not confident about the component swaps only because they were my first times and they have worked fine since, just an underlying feeling that I broke something.

I will update the drivers for the motherboard, I thought they were but the link you provided definitely showed me that they aren't. I will also clean up the graphics card drivers.

thanks!

Well, not sure what happened but it is working now. I am assuming it was your bios/motherboard suggestion. After updating, the bios and some motherboard drivers things are working fine, actually a lot better.

Thank you for the help.

I am a believer in this forum.

thanks
