Solved BSOD playing Civ5 and opening SpeedFan

Please keep this in mind no cable attached to a computer or inside a computer should get hot. If it feels hot to the touch it normally means a poor connection creating a amp draw. It can also be the component the cable is attached to drawing to many amps.

Update with the machine. I sent it back to the company two weeks ago to get it fixed, it was at the point where it would no longer run games at all, then it would not boot. I sent it in and they said it was a software level issue. It was set in IDE mode rather than AHCI and the BIOS settings were reset. They're doing overnight testing and will send it back tomorrow.
I hope that fixes the PC, but I was wondering would that cause a BSOD during gameplay? I just don't want to get it back and be back at square one.

As it turns out the computer has been fixed and returned. It was the GPU. Now I have a different model. Thanks all for the help!
