My PC has been getting BSOD a ton lately while playing graphic heavy games such as Archeage and Guild Wars 2. I have been looking around in BlueScreenView and it seems most of the BSOD are related to ntoskrnl.exe

You mention when play "heavy Games"
Try turning down the games settings.
Use the Repair disk to check for problems, has this started happening lately or as it always been like it?

Hi, good day to all. in case i am too late to share my experience regarding the same problem as the topic starter, I will still share my experience on how I solved my BSOD for all people who have the same problem.

First i will start with the "symptoms" and the history regarding that matter:

When I bought my PC on the 2nd week of january 2014, I immediately installed the OS windows 8. After a few days I experienced my screen freezing(I can move my mouse and alt tab to other opened applications, such as chrome, but after a few seconds, that application which I alt-tabbed into, freezes also. When that happens, I always restart my pc(using the restart button below the power button). However, there seems to be a problem when I do that because it seems that it doesn't pass the logo of my motherboard's manufacturer(where it shows press f2 or f8 to enter UEFI or BIOS settings). When that happens, i need to turn-off my AVR to have a complete reset of the PC. I didn't mind the problem since it only happens once or twice a week. After 3 months, i felt that the problem is worsening since it happens almost every time I play heavy games(COD:Ghost, Battlefield4, Dota2; all on max settings with max Anti-aliasing possible). At first I thought it was a windows 8 incompatibility and because that I messed up with my registry and some drivers and stuffs. I then decided to go back to windows 7 and I am very sure that I installed all drivers correctly and without any errors, little did I know that the problem still continues to exist. However, this time, the screen just not freezes but also shows the BSOD without any minidump file(even though i am sure I have the correct settings for my OS to create one every after BSOD). I went to the shop where I have bought my computer, and I let them troubleshoot my pc. Unfortunately, they cannot solve the problem. So i came back home, and after 3 days of reading, reading and reading, I came to an idea to try to isolate the issue on the rams. I tried removing 1 ram and tried it on both yellow slots of my motherboard(dimm_a2 and dimm_b2) still it has BSODs.

The problem was only solved when I placed my 2 rams to the black slots of my motherboard(dimm_a1 and dimm_b1). Now, I can play uninterruptedly. I hope I did help you.

P.S. Sorry if that is quite long, I can't guarantee that I will visit this site again, for I only registered here to post my experience.
