BSOD Stop Code 1E

After trying to update my GPU driver (AMD Radeon HD 6800 series), I continuously received the BSOD at random moments, as well as what seemed to be adware of replaying commercials in the background and no process to identify/end it. After unsuccessfully removing the adware from running programs like Malwarebytes and Combofix, I decided to completely clear my computer. So, in an effort to start from scratch, I reinstalled Windows 7. However, I am still receiving the BSOD stop code error 1E. While it seems the adware has disappeared, the BSOD is reoccurring. Please let me know what my next step of action should be. Thanks.

Make a Hard Drive test from the mfg website: Hard Drive Diagnostic Procedure

For errors on your Hard drive(s): Disk Check

System Temperature

Ensure that there are no heat issues, For monitoring heat of the system use Piriform - Speccy or Hardware Monitorhttp://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Memtest86+
Run Memtest86+ for at least 8-10 passes. It may take up to 20 passes to find problems. Make sure to run it once after the system has been on for a few hours and is warm, and then also run it again when the system has been off for a few hours and is cold.

   Note

Pay close attention to part 3 of the tutorial in order to rule the faulty RAM stick out.

   Tip

Do this test overnight.
