BSOD What is causing it?

Today I had a BSOD out of nowhere. This is the second time its happened in the past cpl of weeks. I think the culprite might be the psu. I've done a /sfc scannow and nothing had to be repaired. all the hard drives except one are less than a year old and just about everything is less then 2 yrs old. dmp file attached. Go to Accessories. Right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.

Type Verifier.

Select Create Standard Settings

Click on Next and select Automatically select all drivers..................

Let it run. This could take a while. Does it find any problem drivers.

As an option, you could go to Control Panel, Device Manager and check to see if any errors (black and yellow question mark) are shown.

Yeah thanx done that already. The only error i have is my usb3.1 not installed cuz i didnt see a reason to install the drivers for them.

I can't see any way to edit my original post so here is the zip file from using the dm log collector. I apparently uploaded my orig dump file instead of this. So i redid it today with no programs running.

Just for information, you're getting a memory management error. Has nothing to do with your power supply. It can be caused by your RAM but it can also be caused by driver problems. I thought we'd look at the drivers first. Doesn't seem to be an issue.

thanx again for your help. i ran the memory tool and it said there were no errors detected but i only ran the default scan.
there's a good possibility it could be my protected power strip is old enuf its blowing out its fuse momentarily enuf to make it blue screen.

I'm guessing you're kidding in that last comment but given the random nature of your problem, we can't overlook anything.

I would let it go unless it becomes frequent enough that testing can narrow down the problem.

Maybe somebody else will have some ideas.

Please run driver verifier for 48 hours. Any configurations are in the link.

Warning: driver verifier could cause boot issues and/or performance issues.

• Make sure that you have recovery media, if needed you can create it.
• Configure a restore point prior enabling driver verifier.

Resetting driver verifier options (recommended in this order)

1. In normal mode open an administrator command prompt and enter the below command
2. In safe mode open an administrator command prompt and enter the below command
3. Press F8 to go to the recovery options,
   • Select Repair Your Computer and press enter,
   • Click Next
   • Enter your password and click ok
   • choose command prompt
   • enter the below command
4. Boot with the recovery media, follow the tutorial and then see above 4 steps in option 3.
5. Via the recovery options or recovery media, select a restore point prior enabling driver verifier

verifier /reset

Crashed when running driver verifier

1. Reset driver verifier
2. Boot in normal mode if necessary
3. Follow Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions to provide the requested logs

I asked him to run the verifier in Post 2, which he did and reported the results in Post 3.

That's not the result of driver verifier, the crash was not caused by driver verifier. In fact, driver verifier wasn't configured.

I don't see any indication of where a crash was caused by the Verifier.

IDK haven't had this happen since. Haven't replaced anything, just havent had it happen since. Maybe it was just a fluke bsod. Also, sorry for such late reply got really busy and forgot all about his thread cuz it wasn't being forwarded to my main email account. So i guess you can close this thread. Now with my luck my psu will go out tomorrow lol.
